Women’s Federation for World Peace, Bangladesh (WFWP-BD) is a 100% women’s Lead & Owned NGO, founded in 1996, with the motto, “Humankind is a family living in one global home, the Earth.” Since 1994, WFWP- BD volunteers have been commissioned to serve in countries throughout the world. WFWP-BD is committed to the achievement of freedom from poverty, as well as to implementing development cooperation activities based on local community like Humanitarian Response, Education, Environment, Health, Women Empowerment, Skill Development and Livelihood.
Currently WFWP-BD is Implementing a project for Rohingya and host community of Ukhiya and Teknaf upazila in cox’s Bazar district funded by WPHF and in partnership with UN Women titled “EMPOWER: Promoting Socio-Economic Empowerment and Leadership for Women and Young Women in Forced Displacement and Host Community & COACTION: Ensuring efficient performance for socio-economic recovery of forcibly displaced female communities by learning in joint collaboration”.
